The PTA looks forward to helping the 8th grade parents host several great events for our 8th grade students, to celebrate them and their accomplishments here at Lindale Middle School. Our festivities include an 8th Grade Dance, Recognition/Promotion Ceremony, Field Day, and Washington, D.C. Field Trip for the whole 8th grade!  | PAY 8TH GRADE DUES HERE! – $25 All of these events require funds to cover the cost of decorations, food, rentals, supplies for some field day activities. Last year, parents concluded that dues for 8th grade families would be used to cover most of the festivities, and the feedback was positive from their experiences, so this year’s 8th grade committee decided to ask families to pitch in $25 again this year. |
 | Washington, D.C. Field Trip – May 29th The entire 8th Grade class will have the opportunity to tour either the National Air & Space Museum or the Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.  | 8th Grade Field Day – May 30th after lunch Check back for more details! Our festivities include an 8th Grade Field Day where students get to choose a wide variety of activities stations to fill their day with fun and time with friends. In the past, we have provided the students with snowballs, message wall, basketball, different activities, food, and more. |
 | 8th Grade Dance – Friday, June 6, 2025, 7pm to 10pm The festivities conclude with a night of dancing and activities for our amazing 8th graders. Students with enter the main gym for a night to remember. A DJ, Photo Booth, chill space, snacks are always a favorite of our students. We are asking for donations and volunteers for the dance. Please only sign up to volunteer if you are an 8th grade parent. If you are able to donate, please label items “8th grade dance” and send them into the front office by May 30th.  | 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony – June 10, 6pm to 8pm Check back for more details! Lindale hosts a recognition ceremony. In the past, we have decorated the auditorium for the celebration, provided refreshments, photo stations for families, and more for this event. |
  | 8th Grade Yard Signs and Banners Celebrate your Lindale Middle School 8th grader with a personalized banner and/or yard sign. Yard signs: $15 Yard signs come with CLASS OF 2025 and your student’s name underneath. Signs are 24″ x 18″, printed in full color on one side. They are waterproof and include a metal ground stake. Banners: $35 Banners will say CLASS OF 2025 and your student’s name. Banners are 15 x 32 and printed in full color on one side. They include a 40-character message to the student. Banners will hang in the hallway at Lindale Middle School and can be picked up to take home at any time.
